I bought two e-books for my Kindle Fire this week! Defiance was on sale for one day and of course I had to buy What Really Happened in Peru! I have already read it and it was awesome! There will be a review up of that sometime today! I haven't heard much about Defiance but I am sure that I will enjoy it as well when I finally get around to reading it!

I bought one book for my Kindle Fire this week. It was on sale one day for $1.99, so I thought that I would go ahead and pick it up. I haven't heard so many mixed reviews over this but I can't wait to read it for myself. After all, I never get tired of vampire stories no matter how much I read of them.

I won these from a giveaway on Goodreads! I can't believe that I actually won! I saw that like 1,081 members on Goodreads entered and I actually am one of the ones that got picked! I have read Tempest and own it in hardcover, so now I have the paperback version and the hardcover! I can't tell you how happy I was when I realized that I won! So excited to read Vortex!

I got this book from the library this week. I am also excited to read this book as well. I've heard great things about it and since it is from Ali's POV it is bound to be awesome. I just got finished reading Burned the 12th book in the series and it was pretty good. I'm excited to see what this book will reveal about Alison!

Really happy that the fourth book is out in the Shadow Falls series aka Born at Midnight series. I love these books so much. They are just so fun to read and so good. If you haven't checked them out yet I really recommend them. They are just your good typical ya book, but they are great! I also finally got Every Day from the library. I have it on hold for about two weeks and was surprise by how fast I got it. I just got to say that my library rocks so much. They are always have the newest releases. I am currently reading Beautiful Chaos right now so I can be able to read the final book Beautiful Redemption when it comes out in a few weeks. I can't wait!

I was going to go the Libba Bray signing last Wednesday but I got sick and had a big math exam that I had to study for so I didn't have a chance to go but the bookstore was nice enough to have Libba Bray sign my copy anyways! So when I went to the bookstore to pick it up on Friday night, there was another book signing going on. It was the Fierce Read's Panel that had several authors. I didn't have much money on me so I could only decide to get one book and I picked Cinder. So I got to meet Marissa Meyer. She was really nice and I even got some swag.

 

I also have gotten a few books at the library. I am so excited to read these! I am currently reading Bittersweet. I am about hundred pages and it is so fabulous. I can't tell you how much I love it. I can already tell that it is going to be one of my favorites just like Twenty Boy Summer. That is all for me this week. I am been somewhat lacking my blog recently. I have just been so busy with school and being sick. Hopefully that changes here soon.

That is all that I got this week! FINALLY have all the books in the Chaos Walking series now. I plan to read them this fall since I can just read one right after the other now! I also went ahead and got the fourth book in the Stefan Diaries. I really enjoy these books even though they are somewhat different from the TV show. I miss TVD so much! I can't wait till October 11th! Or at least until we can see a new trailer for season four besides the Comic-Con one. I also included the Hunger Games DVD. I am just beyond excited to watch all the special features. Even though I have rented it on TV already before I bought the DVD. I made my Dad watch and he really liked it but he doesn't like Peeta! 0_0 He likes Gale! WHAT?! Hopefully that changes when he watches Catching Fire because I will force him to watch that too! *evil laughs*

So I have had one heck of a week. I had surgery a week ago and had a doctors appointment on Wednesday. I got a little depressed after the appointment for silly reasons now when I look back at it, but at the time I was really upset. So I made my dad drive me to Barnes and Noble. All of those books I got were an impulse buy. I got a Jodi Picoult book because before I really started getting into YA I use to read some adult novels. I love Jodi Picoult's Tenth Circle, Harvesting the Heart, The Pact and Plain Truth so I went and bought a Jodi Picoult book. Beautiful Disaster is another impulse buy. I have told myself repeatedly that I wouldn't read 50 Shades of Grey, so when I saw this on the same table I just went over and picked it up then kept on walking. Lol. I then bought an Owl Journal for some reason. I think I might start keeping a journal. I don't know. Lol. So yeah, there is my big story and trip to Barnes and Noble this week. It is always good to do some retail (book) therapy. Lol. I have had those books on hold from the library for a couple weeks so it was finally nice to get them. I am reading Hide and Seek right now. Really liking it so far! :)

Btw, I also bought college books this week. and OhMyGod kill me now. Totally broke. I have decided that those are the only books that i don't like. I hate college books. AghH! Okay, sorry rant over. Lol.

I went to one of Chris Colfer's book signing last Sunday. I had so much fun. I still can't believe that I met Chris Colfer. I am planning on doing a post about it later on this week. I went on vacation during this week so of course I went shopping for some books! I am really looking forward to reading all of these. I still have yet to read the first book in the Chaos Walking series, The Knife of Never Letting Go, but I know that I will love it so I went ahead and bought the second book. I am so excited to read Courtney Summers book. I just adore her so much and her books never fail to make me love them. I also can't wait to read Tiger Lily since I am a huge Peter Pan fan. I love Peter and Wendy, but I am interested to see this.

I am slowly buying all the Harry Potter books for my collection! All that I need to buy now is that the last book. I have read all the Harry Potter books but the last two! I know, it's awful! So I signed up for the 2012 Harry Potter Reading Challenge hosted by The Reading Fever. You can look at the details for the challenge here. I am planning to start to read the first book next month and start this challenge because I really do want to complete it before 2012 is over!

I recently went to a book signing on Wednesday at Joseph Beth Bookstore in Crestview Kentucky. I saw Ellen Schrieber the author the Vampire Kisses and Full Moon series. These books are pretty special to me and my friends and I have some fond memories with these books. This book tour was to talk about the final and last book in the Vampire Kisses series; Immortal Hearts. Sorry I didn't catch any pictures of the event but here are my books signed! I had a wonderful time! She is so nice! I really recommend checking her books out and if you ever have a chance to meet her. She is a great speaker and loves Johnny Depp. I feel like we could be best friends :)
