Waiting on Wednesday (31)

Waiting on Wednesday was started by Jill over at Breaking the Spine.

Just One Day
-Gayle Forman
Release Date: January 8th, 2013

A breathtaking journey toward self-discovery and true love, from the author of If I Stay
When sheltered American good girl Allyson "LuLu" Healey first meets laid-back Dutch actor Willem De Ruiter at an underground performance of Twelfth Night in England, there’s an undeniable spark. After just one day together, that spark bursts into a flame, or so it seems to Allyson, until the following morning, when she wakes up after a whirlwind day in Paris to discover that Willem has left. Over the next year, Allyson embarks on a journey to come to terms with the narrow confines of her life, and through Shakespeare, travel, and a quest for her almost-true-love, to break free of those confines.

Just One Day is the first in a sweepingly romantic duet of novels. Willem’s story—Just One Year—is coming soon!

My thoughts: I just need this book in my life so bad. I loved, just loved, Gayle Forman's If I Stay and Where She Went. The summary just makes me want to jump up and down and run down to the bookstore and get it already. I can't wait to hear what everyone else thinks of this book. I am so jealous of the people geting ARCS of this ;) HAPPY HALLOWEEN, btw!

Top Ten Tuesday: Favorite Kick-Ass Heroines (9)

This weekly meme is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

This weeks Top Ten is:
FAVORITE KICK-ASS HEROINES

1. Katniss Everdeen (The Hunger Games)
Yes, I am being totally cliche` with this and having Katniss as my first pick but I can't help it. I just love Katniss so much. She is so kick-ass and just awesome. If you haven't read the Hunger Games, you need to stop whatever you are doing and go read it right now. However, I am pretty sure that everyone has already read them by now. My favorite moment of her kick ass skills is in the last book towards the end with President Snow & Coin. That is probably my most favorite scene in the whole book series if I'm being honest.

2. Clary Fray (The Mortal Instruments)
I picked Clary for this because I just love the whole shadowhunter world and fits into it perfectly. If you haven't read the latest book in the series, City of Lost Souls, you really need to know. We finally get to see Clary stick up for herself and she fights and it is just awesome. I love the scenes when Jace and her would fight against the demons side by side. I can't help it, I get so fangirly over this series :)

3. Tris Prior (Divergent)
I just love these books so much. I cannot even explain how much I love these books. Divergent is around 500 pages or so and I read it all in one day. I just couldn't put it down. Tris is so much fun to read from. She is smart, tough, and awesome. She fights against the government and goes into battles. It is just so good!

4. Rose Hathaway (Vampire Academy)
Of course I was going to put Rose on here. She is a dhampir, which means that she is part vampire and part human. She is a body guard for her best friend Lissa who is a full vampire. Rose battles the strigoi in the whole series and even Dimitri! There is so much action in these books! I also got to give a shout out to Sydney in the Bloodlines series. I love how she is completely opposite of Rose but still manages to hold her own and be kick-ass at the same time.

5. Helen Hamilton (Starcrossed)
If anyone has read the latest book in the series, Dreamless, then you know exactly why I put Helen on this list. She had it so bad in the last book. She is one tough girl to be able to deal with what all she had to do. She descends to the underworld every night just to die down there and come back all exhausted, bloody, and dirty. She was also doing this all alone through the first half of the book. Not to mention she had some pretty mean stuff done to her in this book.

6. Meghan Chase (The Iron King)
I still have yet to read the last book in the series, so I am not completely sure how it ends yet. However, from the first three books that I have read Meghan has to be one of my favorite characters of all time. She is just so likable to read from plus she takes on the Iron King to find her brother. She sticks up for her family and won't let anything happen to them. I really like that about her.

7. June Iparis (Legend)
This is a futuristic world where June is in the military of a very controlling government. She can pretty much beat anyone or kill them if she wants too. There is another main character in the story Day and I loved him as well. My favorite line from the book is towards the end when June says that her and Day is the same person but just grew up in two different places.

8. Juliette Ferrars (Shatter Me)
I really need to read Destroy Me. I asked my parents for a Kindle Fire for Christmas, so I should be able to read it soon. I usually like to be the person who likes opposite of what everyone else does, so I really like Warner and Juliette a lot. I don't hate Adam or anything but I just like Warner so I can't wait to read Destroy Me. Juliette can kill people with her touch. I think that pretty much qualifies as being bad ass!

9. Echo Emerson (Pushing the Limits)
Since it seemed like all my picks have either been from a Dystopian or Fantasy world I decided to change it up and pick one from a contemporary novel. I recently read Pushing the Limits and I cannot say enough good things about it. It is definitely one of my favorite debuts of the year. Echo is so strong for everything she had to go through. She goes through times wonder if her brain is going to crack and she is going to go insane but she doesn't. I also loved reading about her and Noah's relationship.

The Forest of Hands and Teeth have to be one of my all time favorite book series and Annah is my favorite character out of all three books. I feel like Annah had to go through so much. She has scars on the side of her face and she feels ugly because of it and the one boy she loves is in love with her sister. She struggles to stay strong but has the help of Catcher and they fight against the zombies to find a better place. It is such a good book series, please read it if you haven't yet.

Alliances will be made, and friends will be lost, as the Order’s dark secrets are revealed by the very thing they sought to destroy.

Taylor Swift's Red Album Review

Hey guys! In case you didn't know I am a huge Taylor Swift fan. Last week her new CD "Red" came out on Monday, October 22nd. If you haven't checked it out yet, you really should. During the summer of 2011 I went to see her in concert for the first time during her Speak Now Tour. She is probably one of my favorite celebrities. I thought that today I would do a mini review over a few of my favorite songs that are on the album and my thoughts on it as a whole. I like all the songs on the album but my favorites would be: State of Grace, Red, Stay Stay Stay, and Begin Again. I am going to break these down and talk about each one.

State of Grace
This is the first track off the album and I think that it was the perfect pick. In a interview with Taylor she said that this is like an introduction to all the other songs. My favorite line is, "Love is a ruthless game unless you play it good and right." I just love that so much. It also has a different sound than her usual stuff. It still has a country vibe but does a little bit of pop thrown in there. I like that she is maturing and not sounding the same as she does on the previous albums.

 Red
If I had to pick which would be my absoulte favorite song, it would be this one. I remember when I first heard it on iTunes when she released it for the first time. I just couldn't help but fall in love with it. I like how she uses colors to describe different emotions. It is so catchy that I can't stop listening to it or singing it. I remember driving to school when the leaves were all red; falling down on the road and I had this song playing. My favorite line is, "Memorizing him was as easy as knowing all the words to your old favorite song."

                               Stay Stay Stay
When I first heard this song, I knew right away that this would be one of my favorites off the album. It is just so fun and makes you feel so happy. And after listening to all the depressing songs I felt like this song was really needed. I can't help but laugh and just smile whenever I listen to it. It also reminds of Taylor's Speak Now CD, it feels like it has the same vibe to it. I have to favorite parts in this song. The first is, "This morning I said we should talk about it. Cause I read you should never leave a fight unresolved. That's when you came in wearing a football helmet and said "okay, let's talk."

Begin Again
Have you gues seen the music video to this yet?! It is just so perfect. It is like a country/pop mix and the words are just so wonderful. I loved this the first time I heard it. I have no idea how Taylor Swift manages to write such relatable songs. I think everyone can agree that Begin Again is one of the best on the whole album. My favorite line is, "Walked in expecting you'd be late but you got here early and you stand and wave. I walk to you." I also really like this part too, "I've been spending the last 8 months thinking all love ever does is break and burn and end. But on a Wednesday in a cafe, I watched it begin again." :)

Those are just my top pick favorites. Some others that I like really well are All Too Well, I Almost Do, Starlight, and The Last Time which is a duet done with the guy from Snow Patrol. Also if you are able I would purchase the Target exculsive cause there are three extra songs on there are really good also. There is this song called The Moment I Knew and this is crazy but that song actually made me cry. Everyone should just go listen to it themselves. It is a truly touching song that will make your heart ache. Taylor also just released her upcoming Red Tour for 2013! Do any of you plan on going?! I will be attending the one on April 26th in Indianapolis, Indiana. Did you guys also know that Ed Sheeran is going on tour with her as a special guest?! AGH!!!! :) :) :) I just can't stop smiling and freaking out! It is for sure to be a great show!

The Raven Boys - Maggie Stiefvater

Title: The Raven Boys
Author: Maggie Stiefvater
Release Date: September 28th, 2012, Hardcover
Publisher: Scholastic Press
Group: Young Adult Literature
Rating:

“There are only two reasons a non-seer would see a spirit on St. Mark’s Eve,” Neeve said. “Either you’re his true love . . . or you killed him.”

It is freezing in the churchyard, even before the dead arrive.
Every year, Blue Sargent stands next to her clairvoyant mother as the soon-to-be dead walk past. Blue herself never sees them—not until this year, when a boy emerges from the dark and speaks directly to her. His name is Gansey, and Blue soon discovers that he is a rich student at Aglionby, the local private school. Blue has a policy of staying away from Aglionby boys. Known as Raven Boys, they can only mean trouble.

But Blue is drawn to Gansey, in a way she can’t entirely explain. He has it all—family money, good looks, devoted friends—but he’s looking for much more than that. He is on a quest that has encompassed three other Raven Boys: Adam, the scholarship student who resents all the privilege around him; Ronan, the fierce soul who ranges from anger to despair; and Noah, the taciturn watcher of the four, who notices many things but says very little.

For as long as she can remember, Blue has been warned that she will cause her true love to die. She never thought this would be a problem. But now, as her life becomes caught up in the strange and sinister world of the Raven Boys, she’s not so sure anymore. From Maggie Stiefvater, the bestselling and acclaimed author of the Shiver trilogy and The Scorpio Races, comes a spellbinding new series where the inevitability of death and the nature of love lead us to a place we’ve never been before.
************************************************************

If you haven't read this book yet, you need to do so immediately. I haven't read anything like it before. It is just written beautifully and the characters are so wonderful. I can finally say that Maggie Stiefvater is one of my favorite authors; she ranks right up there with Suzanne Collins and Cassandra Clare in my opinion. I fell in love with the Wolves of Mercy Falls, then with the Scorpio Races, and finally with the Raven Boys.

This story wasn't what I expected at all. From reading the summary, I thought that it would be more of a love story but it isn't at all. Even though there is some romance it isn't a lot. It is mostly an adventure story about four friends: Gansey, Adam, Ronan, and Noah. Then there is Blue whose family is full of psychics. Each character has an own backstory and personality. The characters are the most important for me when it comes to a story, and these were the best. I enjoyed Gansey and Adam's friendship the most and it comes into play a lot during the end of the book. I just want them to hug it out so bad! I loved them!

I will admit, when I first started this book I was slightly confused. I didn't really understand what was going on. I even had to reread the first couple chapters. Once I started to understand what this book was going to be about, I loved it. It is about Gansey on the search for the resting place of a Welsh King Glendower. The first to do so will be granted a favor. I was really confused about this during the first half of the book. I kept wondering why Gansey was so obsessed with this and why did he keep wanting to find it? What was the backstory behind this? It is finally revealed towards the middle of the book and then it all started to make sense. My only complaint is that I wish that we would have had that sooner. It would have helped me a lot during the first fifty pages or so.

I really liked how the chapters had different POV's. It would switch from Blue, Gansey, and then to Adam. There were even some chapters told from the villain in this story. I am not sure how I feel about Blue and Gansey's relationship when I seem to love Adam and Blue so much more. I do like Gansey, but there is something about Adam that I like too. I feel so sorry for him with his family issues and everything.

Overall, I highly recommend this book. It is one of my favorite reads in 2012 for sure. This is an excellent start for this new upcoming series. I just can't wait to get my hands on the sequel! I know that it will not disappoint!

Cover Reveal: Sweet Peril, Unbreakable, & Ashes on the Waves

Here are some recent cover reveals! I really love them so I thought I would do a post on them. Post a comment and tell me which ones you are looking forward too!

Sweet Peril (The Sweet Trilogy, #2)
- Wendy Higgins

Anna Whitt, daughter of a guardian angel and a demon, promised herself she’d never do the work of her father—polluting souls. She’d been naive to make such a claim. She’d been naive about a lot of things.

Haunted by demon whisperers, Anna does whatever she can to survive, even if it means embracing her dark side and earning an unwanted reputation as her school’s party girl. Her life has never looked more bleak. And all the while there’s Kaidan Rowe, son of the Duke of Lust, plaguing her heart and mind.

When an unexpected lost message from the angels surfaces, Anna finds herself traveling the globe with Kopano, son of Wrath, in an attempt to gain support of fellow Nephilim and give them hope for the first time. It soon becomes clear that whatever freedoms Anna and the rest of the Neph are hoping to win will not be gained without a fight. Until then, Anna and Kaidan must put aside the issues between them, overcome the steamiest of temptations yet, and face the ultimate question: is loving someone worth risking their life?

Unbreakable (Unraveling, #2)
- Elizabeth Norris

Four months after Ben disappeared through the portal to his home universe, Janelle believes she’ll never see him again. Her world is still devastated, but life is finally starting to resume some kind of normalcy. Until Interverse Agent Taylor Barclay shows up. Somebody from an alternate universe is running a human trafficking ring, kidnapping people and selling them on different Earths—and Ben
is the prime suspect. Now his family has been imprisoned and will be executed if Ben doesn’t turn himself over within five days.

And when Janelle learns that someone she cares about—someone from her own world—has become one of the missing, she knows that she has to help Barclay, regardless of the danger. Now Janelle has five days to track down the real culprit. Five days to locate the missing people before they’re lost forever. Five days to reunite with the boy who stole her heart. But as the clues begin to add up, Janelle realizes that she’s in way over her head—and that she may not have known Ben as well as she thought. Can she uncover the truth before everyone she cares about is killed?

- Mary Lindsey

Liam MacGregor is cursed. Haunted by the wails of fantastical Bean Sidhes and labeled a demon by the villagers of D√≤chas, Liam has accepted that things will never get better for him—until a wealthy heiress named Annabel Leighton arrives on the island and Liam’s fate is changed forever.

With Anna, Liam finally finds the happiness he has always been denied; but, the violent, mythical Otherworlders, who inhabit the island and the sea around it, have other plans. They make a wager on the couple’s love, testing its strength through a series of cruel obstacles. But the tragedies draw Liam and Anna even closer. Frustrated, the creatures put the couple through one last trial—and this time it’s not only their love that’s in danger of being destroyed.

Based on Edgar Allan Poe’s chilling poem Annabel Lee, Mary Lindsey creates a frighteningly beautiful gothic novel that glorifies the power of true love.

Follow Friday (11)

This is a weekly theme hosted by Parajunkee's View & Alison Can Read.

Q: When you step out of your USUAL genre what do you like to read? Best books in that genre?

My usual genre is anything YA related, but when I don't read YA I will usually read Jodi Picoult. I will pretty much read anything under the women's fiction genre or Chick Lit adult. Some of my favorite Jodi Picoult novels are The Tenth Circle, Harvesting the Heart, and Plain Truth. I totally recommend her books. I love them so much!

Beautiful Chaos - Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl

Title: Beautiful Chaos
Author: Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl
Release Date: October 18th, 2011, Hardcover
Publisher: Little Brown and Compnay
Group: Young Adult Literature
Rating:

Ethan Wate thought he was getting used to the strange, impossible events happening in Gatlin, his small Southern town. But now that Ethan and Lena have returned home, strange and impossible have taken on new meanings. Swarms of locusts, record-breaking heat, and devastating storms ravage Gatlin as Ethan and Lena struggle to understand the impact of Lena's Claiming. Even Lena's family of powerful Supernaturals is affected - and their abilities begin to dangerously misfire. As time passes, one question becomes clear: What - or who - will need to be sacrificed to save Gatlin?

For Ethan, the chaos is a frightening but welcome distraction. He's being haunted in his dreams again, but this time it isn't by Lena - and whatever is haunting him is following him out of his dreams and into his everyday life. Even worse, Ethan is gradually losing pieces of himself - forgetting names, phone numbers, even memories. He doesn't know why, and most days he's too afraid to ask.

Sometimes there isn't just one answer or one choice. Sometimes there's no going back. And this time there won't be a happy ending.
************************************************************
Beautiful Chaos continues the story of Ethan, Lena, Link, Ridley and the rest of the gang. I was really excited to start this book after reading the huge cliff-hanger ending in Beautiful Darkness. I feel like I have a love/hate relationship with these books. I just absolutely adored the first book in the series, but it seems like the rest of the books have just been okay. I will admit that Beautiful Chaos was better than Beautiful Darkness in my opinion.

The beginning of Beautiful Chaos was really good, it was when I got to the middle that I started to have some problems. It started to become a little boring for me. I had a really hard time getting into the story about his Great Aunts and when their house got destroyed. I just didn't seem to care about them, which is bad I know, but I was honestly way too interested in the Ridley and Link story. I wish we could have got more scenes with them together.

I love all the characters so much, but was disappointed that Liv wasn't in the first 100 pages. She happens to be my favorite character besides Ridley. However I feel like the story made up for it with Ridley being in it so much. It was just absolutely hilarious reading about her while she was High School. I also really liked how Lena wasn't so annoying in this book. I could actually tolerate her this time. I also really enjoyed how we got to have some flashbacks in this one! This time they are about Lena's parents: Sarafine and John. I feel really sorry for Sarafine in this book. We get to see her when she was a teen like Lena and how she got treated awful by her family. I thought John was sweet but there was no hope for Sarafine I feel.

I am going to mention a big spoiler next, so don't continue reading if you don't want to know. This has to be my most favorite thing that has ever happened in this series. John Breed and Liv hookup and became a thing. Yes, yes I know. Nobody could have saw this coming. John Breed is actually a good guy, and while Liv stays with him; he starts to fall for her. Just oh my gosh. I am praying that in Beautiful Redemption that there will be loads more of this. Please Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl; I am begging you. I know that since the book comes out next week that there isn't much you can do now, but maybe like an ebook or something in one of their point of views? I need more of them in my life.

So overall, I really enjoyed this but had some problems with it as the same time with the pacing and some of the storylines. I feel like it could have been a lot shorter. The ending of this book will leave you so confused and have you going like what????!!! I can't wait to purchase Beautiful Redemption next week! I'm glad that I waited to read this so the story can be fresh for the last book in the series. I am just so curious to see how this all will end.

Teaser Tuesday (7)

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.

I do not feel brave. I feel small and frightened and furious. I have enough on my plate without worrying about some damned prophecy made a hundred years ago. I came to this diary looking for help, for guidance, and instead Mother's heaped more responsibility onto my head. But there was more. Perhaps some of it's actually useful. Something to tell me what I ought to do, besides cowering here in the corner. I pick up the diary again.

"You will be hunted by those who would use you for their own ends. You must be very careful. You cannot trust anyone with your secrets. There is more, and it is  worse. I have been frightened to write it all here, lest it fall into the wrong hands. You must seek answers. Those who love knowledge for its own sake will help. Until you know the whole truth of the prophecy, you must not share it with anyone. I am so sorry I am not there to protect you, but I can trust you to take care of Maura and Tess for me. Love always, Mom."

pg. 88, Born Wicked - Jessica Spotswood

-I am loving this book so far. It is really different than what I was expecting though. I am curious as to what time period this is suppose to be? Is it the 1800s? I can't wait to read more, but school work is demanding. I can't wait to see what is going to happen next!

Leave a comment and tell me if you guys have read or looking forward to this book!

Waiting on Wednesday (30)

Waiting on Wednesday was started by Jill over at Breaking the Spine.

This Is What Happy Looks Like
-Jennifer E. Smith
Release Date: April 2nd, 2013

If fate sent you an email, would you answer?

In This is What Happy Looks Like, Jennifer E. Smith's new YA novel, perfect strangers Graham Larkin and Ellie O'Neill meet—albeit virtually—when Graham accidentally sends Ellie an email about his pet pig, Wilbur. In the tradition of romantic movies like "You've Got Mail" and "Sleepless in Seattle," the two 17-year-olds strike up an email relationship, even though they live on opposite sides of the country and don't even know each other's first names.

Through a series of funny and poignant messages, Graham and Ellie make a true connection, sharing intimate details about their lives, hopes and fears. But they don't tell each other everything; Graham doesn't know the major secret hidden in Ellie's family tree, and Ellie is innocently unaware that Graham is actually a world-famous teen actor living in Los Angeles.

When the location for the shoot of Graham's new film falls through, he sees an opportunity to take their relationship from online to in-person, managing to get the production relocated to picturesque Henley, Maine, where Ellie lives. But can a star as famous as Graham have a real relationship with an ordinary girl like Ellie? And why does Ellie's mom want her to avoid the media's spotlight at all costs?

Just as they did in The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight, the hands of fate intervene in wondrous ways in this YA novel that delivers on high concept romance in lush and thoughtful prose.

My thoughts: I loved the Statistical probability of Love at First Sight a lot! So I just know that I will love this book, plus how does this not sound good. This guy sends an accident email to this girl about his pet pig? LOL. Also love the cover and the title! This sounds great! I am so looking forward too it!

Do you guys plan on reading this?

Beautiful Creatures Movie Trailer Thoughts

I thought that today I would talk about the Beauitful Creatures movie trailer! I am so excited for this movie and the final book, Beauitful Redemption, that is coming out October 23rd. Right now I am currently reading the third book Beautiful Chaos so I can be already for the Beauitful Redemption. Anyways, back to the movie trailer; I just can't believe how wonderful it looks. You can tell that the director and everyone working behind the scenes has put a lot of effort into this and know exactly what this series is all about.

One scene that really stood out to me was at the beginning when Lena makes the windows break in the classroom! Just oh my gosh, I freaked out so much when I watched it that. I remember reading that being one of my favorite scenes in the book and they have done such an excellent job with it. Another one of my favorite scenes from the trailer is when Ridley is talking about Lena. The line that she says is that, "You think that Lena is a good girl now, but it won't matter." I seriously got chills when I heard Ridley say that. The actress that is protraying her is Emmy Rossum and I just can't believe how perfect she is playing her.

I also can't forget to talk about the music they are playing in the background; Seven Devils by Florence + The Machine. One of my faovrite songs ever. I recently discoved Florence and ever since I she has become my favorite artist. If you don't listen to them I highly suggest that you check them out. Some of my favorite songs is Only if for a Night and No Light, No Light. The music just makes the trailer look and sound so epic. The music goes right along with the scenes and the pacing is so good. I know I am repeating myself but I just can't get over how great this movie looks.

So overall, I happy with this trailer and you can for sure bet that I will be at the cinemas on February 13, 2013. It's funny cause that is my father's birthday. Hopefully I can convince him to go see this movie for his birthday. I was able to do that when Percy Jackson came out. Wish me luck!

Sweet Evil - Wendy Higgins

What if there were teens whose lives literally depended on being bad influences? This is the reality for sons and daughters of fallen angels.

Tenderhearted Southern girl Anna Whitt was born with the sixth sense to see and feel emotions of other people. She's aware of a struggle within herself, an inexplicable pull toward danger, but Anna, the ultimate good girl, has always had the advantage of her angel side to balance the darkness within. It isn't until she turns sixteen and meets the alluring Kaidan Rowe that she discovers her terrifying heritage and her willpower is put to the test. He's the boy your daddy warned you about. If only someone had warned Anna.

Forced to face her destiny, will Anna embrace her halo or her horns?

Thank goodness I read Sweet Evil when I did. I was in a really bad reading slump at the time and didn't feel like reading at all since a lot of books that I have been reading hadn't amazed me. Then I decided to pick up Sweet Evil since it was on my 2012 debut author challenge. I had seen this book before but I hadn't heard a lot of buzzed around it. This book is so under hyped. I don't understand why this book isn't insanely popular. This isn't your typical young adult book about angels. Wendy Higgins creates this unique and interesting spin on the topic that I just couldn't stop reading about. Yes, this story is about angels but it is done in such a way that it doesn't seem like you have ever read about them before.

It has been a long time since I have loved a couple as much as I love Anna and Kaidan. They have so much chemistry with each other that it can be frustrating at times, but it's the good type of frustrating. The thing that makes this whole relationship crazy is that Kaidan is the son of the Duke of Lust which means that Kaidan's job is to take girls virginity. Anna is the daughter of the Duke of Addiction which also means that she has a pull towards drugs. They are completely unpredictable when they are together, which is one of the things that I loved so much about them. You had no idea what was going to happen and whether something huge was about to take place.

Anna is such a likable character to read from. That is the most important thing for me in a story, I have to like the main character or else I am just not going to like the book. Anna is half angel and half demon. It is like a good vs. evil going on right inside of you. I really hope that we get to learn more about her mother in the future books. Her father does seem like a good guy, but there is just something about him that I don't trust. I don't know if anybody else felt that way about him, but I feel like he isn't being completely honest. Anna goes through a lot of changes and self-discovery but she never forgets who she is and that was one of the things I liked about her so much.

Hopefully I gave this book a decent review and made you want to pick it up. I recommend it so much. Just be prepared to have your heart break with the relationship of Anna and Kiadan and one of the biggest cliff-hanger endings ever.

Is death the end... or only the beginning?

Ethan Wate has spent most of his life longing to escape the stiflingly small Southern town of Gatlin. He never thought he would meet the girl of his dreams, Lena Duchannes, who unveiled a secretive, powerful, and cursed side of Gatlin, hidden in plain sight. And he never could have expected that he would be forced to leave behind everyone and everything he cares about. So when Ethan awakes after the chilling events of the Eighteenth Moon, he has only one goal: to find a way to return to Lena and the ones he loves.

Back in Gatlin, Lena is making her own bargains for Ethan's return, vowing to do whatever it takes -- even if that means trusting old enemies or risking the lives of the family and friends Ethan left to protect.

Worlds apart, Ethan and Lena must once again work together to rewrite their fate, in this stunning finale to the Beautiful Creatures series.

My thoughts: I love this series! I still have yet to read Beauitful Chaos though, but plan to do so before this book comes out. I wonder how this series plans to end. I also can't wait for the movie that is coming out next year! I am so excited!

Do you guys plan on reading this?
